Polymicro-1 : This microtonal piece is composed in baran scale and its 24-EDO version. For baran scale click here.

For John chalmers :This piece is composed in honour of Dr.john chalmers ( and another link in Sonic-arts), for his efforts mainly in science of tuning and as a gift for new year.It is not a long time , being acquainted with this guru , but i found a good teacher and better to say , a good freind. This piece is composed Basically in 5-AID(4/3) with a1=66.406 cent .so,by considering 2 equal intervals with size of (4/3)^(1/2) , Finally we can see this 5-tone structure:

                         0.00000
                         66.40600
                         149.41350
                         249.02250
                         365.23300
                         4/3

Then adding a1 to 4/3 , inserting a new interval as 3/2 and extending to 12 note per ocatve lead us to this 12-tone scale with two equal tetrachords:

0:      0      cents
1: 66.406 cents
2: 149.414 cents
3: 249.023 cents
4: 365.233 cents

6: 564.451 cents
7: 3/2      701.955
8: 768.361 cents
9: 851.369 cents
10: 950.978 cents
11: 1067.188 cents

12: 2/1 1200.000

This music is composed in a mode with this degrees : 0 2 3 5 7 9 10 12 . We have 3 point of nonconformity between two tetrachords.

with divisions based on18:16:15:13:12:11:10:9

7: 2/1       1200.000

with divisions based on 22:20:18:16:15:13:12:11

in this serie we have 22:20:18 which is the same as 11:10:9.The overlap of this 2 scale is interesting , as if 18-EDL is a mode based on 22-EDL:
